Screws are fast. Mortise and tenon is forever.Theo Brandt, Founder & Master Joiner
From timber selection to delivery day, one pair of hands carries your commission: grain read before glue, movement allowed for, nothing hidden by filler.
Most commissions move from drawings to delivery inside ten weeks. The first oiling is done together, so you know the ritual.
The film ends at the first oiling. This board is still at 80 grit. Rub it.
The bench takes a limited number of commissions a year, in order.
Begin with a sit-down and a walk through the timber loft.
A selection of moments from the bench. Every joint, figure, and finish accountable to the hands that cut it.

The sit-down is an hour in the workshop: your idea, our timber loft, and honest talk about grain, movement, and cost. Drawings follow only when the piece deserves them.
