The Craft

Every joint, cut to hold

From timber selection to delivery day, one pair of hands carries your commission: grain read before glue, movement allowed for, nothing hidden by filler.

  • Hand joinery: mortise, tenon, dovetail, drawbore
  • Grain matching: boards flipped until the figure agrees
  • Movement allowed: built for seasons, not showrooms
  • Hand-rubbed finish: oil and wax, renewable forever

The Process

From sit-down to first oiling

Most commissions move from drawings to delivery inside ten weeks. The first oiling is done together, so you know the ritual.

The Test

Sand it smooth

The film ends at the first oiling. This board is still at 80 grit. Rub it.

80 grit · keep going

Begin at the bench

The sit-down is an hour in the workshop: your idea, our timber loft, and honest talk about grain, movement, and cost. Drawings follow only when the piece deserves them.
